Weather Stations: French Grimes Race Systems brought the concept of tuning with weather instruments to sprint car racing. Our tuning station is the best tuning tool available to the racer. From the finely crafted maple case, through the optional tuning support program, every component has been selected to provide you with the information you need to win. Our SHARP 1270 pocket computer included in our tuning station contains proprietary formulas that allow for weather correction information, our jet compensation formula that has been developed based on our extensive battleground of knowledge of sprint car engines, and we have a pump change program that will allow instant pump changes.

Exhaust Temps: Exhaust temperature is one of the keys to obtaining an accurate tuning base line. Rapid response, rugged construction, and deadly accuracy are the foundations of the French Grimes Race Systems Exhaust Gas Temperature monitor. Our unit is the hands down best, and has high and low temperature recording and a remote instant hold feature that allows you to grab a temperature reading while the engine is under full load driving off the turn.

Pro Series Timing Light: Preferred by most Winston Cup teams, this timing light is both accurate and easy to use. The Pro Series timing light is designed to work in the most rugged environment. This timing light stands accidental exhaust header contact. The potential for false readings has been eliminated because of the inductors ability to be connected to the spark plug wire in either direction. Ample lead has been included to make timing easier. The Pro Series Timing Light can be used on any points or electronic ignition.

Buzz Box: The French Grimes Race Systems (Buzz Box) ignition timer may be used with magnetos or conventional standard distributors ignitions. The Buzz Box provides an audible signal tone that accurately indicates when points within your magneto open or close.

Ultra View Spark Plug Light: Half the battle of plug reading is having an optical device that allows a clear view of the spark plug. Our plug light has a fine optical glass lens that will show you conditions on a spark plug that you never dreamed could exist.
