The RaceSaver TwinMag®  achieves it's exceptional reliability by utilizing 2 complete, time proven, sets of points, condensers and coils all assembled in a compact and lightweight package.  We have designed this unit so that there are 2 totally separate ignition systems that fire together or separately as desired.  In the rare event that one systems fails, the engine will never miss a beat. When the engine is first started the driver can switch from mag A to mag B to verify that both systems are on line, then the unit is switched to mag A+B for the race.  This assures the driver that ignition failure will be very unlikely.

The RaceSaver TwinMag® is available as a complete system, or we can build you a system utilizing your Vertex style mag core.

Extensive dyno tests prove the RaceSaver TwinMag® more than meets the ignition requirements of today's high output Sprint engines.  The complete RaceSaver TwinMag® system only weighs 10 lbs.  This offers weight savings over the the electronic mags.
